Campus Recreation

The CSU Figure Skating team is a coed, non-profit student run organization.  Our title recently changed from the Synchronized Figure Skating team to the Figure Skating team in hope to attract more members.  We are a fairly new club sport on campus and trying to recruit as many members as possible!  Our goal is to develop and maintain a figure skating team at CSU and establish and excellence in collegiate figure skating.  We practice Tuesday and Thursday nights at Epic Ice Arena from 7:30-9:00.  We also have mandatory practice on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. as a synchro team.  We are one of the few schools in the Western US with a synchronized skating team.  We plan to compete both individually in collegiate competitions and as a synchro team.  We participate in two to five competitions each season, both in state and out of state.  Costs fluctuate each year depending on how many competitions we attend.  Beginners are welcome, and we hope to see you on the ice!
